Description

We are looking for a FT Floor Tech for 3rd shift! Come and join our team here at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab! 

Starting hourly rate is $18.50

Qualifications

SUMMARY: Performs custodial duties and floor maintenance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

1.  Clean Floors.

2.  Strip, finish and buff rooms as assigned.

3.  Cleans wheel and geri chairs.

4.  Carefully move furniture as needed.

5.  Cleans resident and staff areas as assigned.

6.  Operates equipment as per instructions.

7.  Snow removal.

8.  Adheres to all Jewish Home policies.

9.  Performs security duties as needed and or assigned.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year experience in floor care  preferred.

 

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Ability to operate floor care equipment properly and safely.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Must be reliable and responsible.

Must wear clothing safe and appropriate for all areas of building (no ripped clothes).

Ability to work cooperatively with others, both in and outside of department.

Ability to work and function in a responsible manner with minimal supervision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
