ECOMMERCE WARES PROCESSOR FULL TIME

The E-Commerce Wares Processor works with the E-Commerce Wares Lead to monitor all wares sent by stores, distinguish E-Commerce worthy items for posting, and ensure appropriate information is available for the lister. The position is a member of the Retail Team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

1. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures.  Must possess professional etiquette.
2. Ensures sufficient and correct information is provided using appropriate E-Commerce slips for listers to create a complete and desirable listing.
3. Tests common and expensive items to a realistic extent, properly relaying information to lister using appropriate E-Commerce slips.
4. Periodically look for unsold wares and wares in which the value is undetermined.
5. Log incoming wares from stores and notify manager of any abnormalities.
6. Ensure sorting and processing areas stay clean and organized.
7. Notify supervisor of any supplies needed.
8. Package processed wares to ensure pieces for listings remain intact and protected from damage during handling.
9. Meet daily output requirements.
10. Maintain legible handwriting.
11. Regular attendance is required.
12. All other duties as assigned.     

1. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
2. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
3. Must have and maintain a positive attitude.
4. Vast knowledge of household items, along with the desire to continue learning.
5. Basic knowledge of safety and caution with unknown items and/or variables.
6. Ability to work well in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
7. Must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including nights, weekends, and occasional long hours.
8. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently.
9. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
10. Ability to engage in prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking.
11. Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
12. Vision corrected to within normal limits.
