Fellowship Opportunities

The YMCA of the Rockies' Fellowship opportunities are 12 month seasonal roles that focus on professional development for career specific expertise, as well as overall management and non-profit industry skills.

Special Events Fellowship (Estes Park Center, June 2nd, 2025 - June 5th, 2026) The Special Events Fellow will help plan and execute events for staff and guests. They help with logistics including scheduling, ordering supplies, and marketing the events. They will also lead trips beyond Estes Park and work collaboratively with many different departments to help build community at the YMCA. The Special Events Fellow will also be trained in all program areas and act as a leader among program staff.

Craft Shop Fellowship (Estes Park Center, June 9th, 2025 - June 5th, 2026)  The Program Assistant Director Fellow will have the opportunity to gain experience in non-profit business management, program design, and leadership. Each Assistant Director Fellow works under the guidance of a Full Time Program Director to oversee day to day operations. Fellowship applicants can choose from opportunities such as the Craft Shop, Aquatics, Adventure Activities, Youth Programs or Environmental Education. They will receive professional development by a YMCA of the Rockies’ Executive Leadership Team member, YUSA training courses, and relevant certifications.
