POSTION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 225,000 annually. The IT Support Technician is primarily responsible for day-to-day technology issues, including but not limited to desktop applications and computer hardware.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Setup and configure new computers
- Install application software
- Setup and/or remove user accounts on various systems (AD, O365, PBX, PMS, POS, etc.)
- Respond to hardware and software support issues from employees for Microsoft Office applications, (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), phones, peripherals, printers, etc.
- Maintain computer and 3rd party application patching, updates and fixes (OS, AV, etc.)
- Work with vendors as needed to help resolve technical issues.
- Escalate tickets as needed to Associate IT Directors.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate computer inventory.
- Assist the rest of the IT team as needed with technology roadmap implementation, projects, and other needs (Cabling, network install, etc.).
- Maintain and practice customer-focused service to the IT users throughout the Association and provide excellent customer service and communication to those users.
- Maintain documentation related to IT tickets and systems.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years experience in maintaining Information Systems or industry certification with one-year experience.
- A working knowledge of basic networking is desirable.
- Experience with an IT ticket system desirable.
- Strong customer service with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Able to communicate effectively with end-users
- Ability to make independent decisions, set priorities, and work without supervision.
- Ability to work in a Windows environment (Windows 7/10, Server 2012/2016/2019, AD, etc.).
- Ability to problem-solve and think creatively
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Experience with common business programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Evaluate, recommend and implement Associations software and hardware purchases.
- Recommend changes that could improve the professionalism and efficiency of IT resources.
- Must be available on-call for after-hours IT emergencies and planned system upgrades; including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Possess a valid, USA state-issued drivers license, an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.
- Possess stamina to work in the work environment described herein.
