POSITION SUMMARY: Activity Facilitators are responsible for leading family-oriented and group programs for members and guests of all ages. This includes sports, archery, outdoor nature activities, mini-golf clubhouse, roller rink, science experiments, climbing wall, games and other family programs. Additionally, Activity Facilitators will assist guests at the program registration desk. Interns are responsible for working with the Program Administrator to assist with scheduling and facilitation of group programs, as well as communicating with group leaders as need. Interns are expected to assist with training and be a resource for other staff in regards to program development and implementation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for independently executing programming activities including archery, axe-throwing, family programs, team-building and any other programs as assigned.
- Promote and assist in special event weekends and seasonal programming
- Assist the Programs Administrator with scheduling and facilitating group programs
- Assist in training Family Programs staff and in developing and implementing new programming
- Assist in other programs areas (craft shop, mountain center, etc.) as needed
- Maintain and repair recreation equipment
- Predict, prevent, identify and respond to safety issues
- Communicate with all guests in a mature, responsible fashion
- Use computer system to assist guests in signing up for activities, check out equipment, and check participant rosters
- Make change and balance cash boxes
- Participate in daily cleaning of program buildings as assigned
- All other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be fluent in speaking English
- Must possess current Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED certifications

- Must be able to walk up to two (2) miles on uneven terrain
