Konami Gaming is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Analyst I to join our team!

This position is responsible for researching law or jurisdictional regulations, amendments, specifications, or investigating facts, and prepares relevant documents to assist Compliance Department to license the Company and/or employees.  This position also requires the flexibility to act autonomously at all times while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures.

 

What you'll be doing:

 

  • Licensing DB system - inputting relevant information to maintain accuracy of license information, both on a corporate and personal level.
  • Periodic Report assignments.
  • Periodic audits of records to verify accuracy of information.
  • Creating reports and validating.
  • Compiles, maintains, and submits licensing packets for individuals (initials and renewals) as required by jurisdictional entities.  Must be able to obtain and retain gaming licensure.
  • Responsible for keeping all multi-jurisdictional applications updated on assigned personnel, and obtaining updated net worth statements on an as needed basis.
  • Responsible for coordinating with other departments or personnel to acquire licensing in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, legal codes, and compliance regulations pertaining to gaming industry and gaming related products.
  • Assists in various day-to-day functions, as needed.
  • Assists in administrative capacity to type, file, copy, collate, mail, or distribute appropriate and timely information to departments or regulatory agencies. 
  • Reports any discrepancies, changes or recommendations, and/or problems for resolution to senior management.
  • Complies with the company’s regulatory guidelines and corporate policies at all times. 
  • Prioritize work to devote the time necessary to thoroughly evaluate a situation, using all resources available (i.e. Dept. files, internet), prior to responding or taking action. 
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products and employee information.
  • Presents perspective but recognizes and supports final decisions and directives from management.
  • Keeps management apprised of the status of projects without management follow-up.
  • Recognize and identify the department’s overall needs, coming up with suggestions to improve processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What we'll want you to have:

  • Associate’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years in the field or experience and/or training in a related area.
  • Experience in the Gaming Industry is a major plus.
  • NV Notary Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
  • Intermediate to expert level proficiency and usage of Microsoft Office products. 

Work Environment:

  • Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in an area with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Must be able to work at assigned location to enable direct communications and interactions with team members, management, and others as necessary, unless traveling for a business-related purpose.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, paying attention to detail, and meeting assigned deadlines. Demonstrates high integrity, trust, and strict confidentiality. Ability to maintain excellent communication and a positive, respectful, and professional attitude and relationship with clients, employees, peers, co-workers, all levels of management, and all outside organizations conducting business or otherwise interacting with the company. Ability to always act autonomously while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate verbally and write in English.
  • Position shall work primarily in a smoke free office environment. The noise level is low to moderate. Position shall maintain a cubicle or office in close proximity to other cubicles and offices.
