Education and Experience:
Applicant must possess a High school diploma with five years of supervised experience working in a tribal home visiting or Bachelor’s Degree, Preferred.
Knowledge of:
The position requires working in an office environment with usual equipment including phones, computers, copiers, and efax. The position also requires significant driving; must maintain a safe driving history and good knowledge of traffic laws.
Skill:Â
Utilize strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients. Comfortable working independently and with a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to use computer hardware and software required.

License:
Valid California Driver’s License with a safe driving record, DMV record required. Must be insurable by the program’s insurance carrier. A current DMV printout is required and updated every six months.

Certification:
Current CPR Certification which meets the guidelines from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (Can be obtained prior to orientation)Â
Ability to:
Must be able to work with the Indian Community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs. Continuously upgrade skills through in-service training and/or continuing education. Meet routine, established deadlines without supervisor’s directive, i.e., filing accomplished on a daily basis. Perform office practice functions with limited supervision of routine tasks.

Physical Demands:
Ability to life up to 20 lbs. This position requires transporting supplies between location for home visits, group connections, events, etc.

Salary:
$52,000-$55,120 ($25.00-$26.50 D.O.E)
