High School diploma or equivalent. College courses in health care field preferred.

Experience:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist with an accredited medical institution and minimum of two years’ experience in screening/diagnostic mammography with an accredited medical institution.

License:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Certification as a Diagnostic and Mammographic Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in good standing, issued by the State of California, Department of Health. Current certification as a registered Radiologic Technologist nationally by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).Â

Must have or willing to obtain current BLS Certification which meets the guidelines of the American Heart Association or Red Cross prior to orientation

Ability to:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Must be able to work with the Indian Community and be sensitive to the Indian culture and its needs.Â

Physical Demands:Â Â Â
Frequent walking and standing; occasional sitting and bending; power grasping, precision grasping, pushing/pulling and fine manipulation in both hands; reach or work occasionally above and below shoulder level; occasionally requires the use of both feet to operate foot controls. Frequent lifting and carrying of 10 pounds or less, and occasional lifting and carrying of over 50 pounds.
