Required Skills, and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required. Project Management Professional (PMP), or Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience designing or managing design of treatment plants with minimum treatment capacity of 30 MGD and minimum project size of $50M. Experience designing or managing design of membrane and ion exchange water treatment plants. Experience designing or managing design of conventional wastewater and reclaimed water plants. Experience in process design, permitting, project management. Experience in different delivery methods is preferred (design-bid-build, design-build, and progressive design-build).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT), BlueBeam or Adobe Pro PDF Review Software, Project Management Information Systems, Engineering Design best practice and industry regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, but may involve site visits to project locations, requiring occasional travel to oversee project progress and resolve on-site issues.
