The Treasury Management Specialist is responsible for detailed work within the Treasury Management Services department, facilitating a high level of support to customers and smooth processing of daily bank work. This position performs all functions required to process payments and assist commercial/business customers with ACH batch processing, Express (Remote) Deposit, Positive Pay, Online Wire Transfers, and other duties as assigned in the Treasury Management Services department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Process electronic payments/deposits.
- Scan documents.
- Perform data entry.
- Assist with outgoing ACH batches and review remote merchant deposits.
- Assist customers by phone and online with business account-related inquiries, treasury management services, troubleshoot online banking system issues, assist with Online Wire Transfers, Positive Pay daily processing and other related topics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:

- 1 year of bank teller experience or equivalent education in bank teller procedures and policies is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. Fluent in English (verbal as well as written).
- Knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of a high school education is required.
- Extremely detail oriented with a strong tolerance for repetition in work duties and ability to meet deadlines.
- Intermediate level of experience with Treasury Management products (ACH Origination, Positive Pay, Online Wire Transfers, Remote Deposit Capture).
- Intermediate/advanced level of experience with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g. Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) is required.
- Data entry skills where the ability to perform those duties with accuracy and an eye for quality control was demonstrated.
- Able to adjust to an ever-changing work environment, adaptable to changing duties as needed, and stays up-to-date on technology changes.
- Demonstrates the ability to use tact and diplomacy, and present a “professional” personal appearance (including body language, tone of voice, hygiene and attire).
- In addition to possessing the skills necessary to perform the job, the employee must be willing and able to demonstrate these skills by coming to work on a daily basis, as scheduled.
