Here are some responsibilities for the potential Benefits Director:Â
- Oversee and take initiative in plan enhancement, implementation and maintenance of all benefit and wellness programs
- Open Enrollment preparation working with leaders and broker for renewal including plan audits, financial analysis, plan and offering comparisons providing recommendations for plan changes or improvements
- Oversee compliance of all company benefits programs and plans
- Manage relationships with benefits carriers and broker including initiating and leading contract negotiations and strategizing to ensure alignment with company focused goals and cost control
- Develop and implement communications and strategies for improvement to wellness program
- Administration of leave program including FMLA, Personal and PFL and Short and Long-Term disability while maintaining compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and applicable laws
- Administration for ADA compliance and requests adhering to all federal, state and local regulations and applicable laws
- Review compensation and analytics providing reports to VP of HR and leaders with recommendations and strategies to remain competitive
- Collaborate with VP of HR on projects and department improvement and growth
- 10+ years of HR/Benefit experience preferred.
