Responsibilities:

Collaborates with the Product Owner, designer and development team in translating user requirements into software using agile approaches
Writes reusable, testable, and efficient user interface code
Develops integrations with backend and 3rd party APIs
Support investigation of production issues on an as-needed basis
Delivers best-in-class front-end code for the project
Collaboratively develops and tests across multiple platforms
Participates in discussions with business and agile team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions
Understands Agile engineering practices and thoughtfully applies them to deliver high quality, maintainable applications
Proficient in front-end web development

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of Front-End Development experience
Basic understanding of server-side principles and the relation to front-end development and delivery
Familiarity with agile software development and lean start-up methodologies
Basic knowledge of design principles, being able to maintain central theme and style, with interest in delivering human interfaces that are a pleasure to use
Good knowledge of performance testing and front-end optimization principles and techniques
