Wilson College is seeking an energetic and motivated part-time Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead and elevate the athletic performance of our 13 NCAA Division III intercollegiate teams. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a comprehensive strength and conditioning program that supports student-athlete development, performance, and well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing progressive, sport-specific strength and conditioning programs in collaboration with head coaches.
- Ensuring safe physical training techniques that promote performance enhancement and injury prevention.
- Partnering with the athletic training staff to support injury rehabilitation and return-to-play protocols.
- Offering guidance to student-athletes on nutrition, sleep, and mental wellness, within the scope of relevant certifications.
- Ensuring compliance with all College, United East Conference, IHSA, and NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
This position reports to the Director of Athletics and plays a key role in fostering student-athlete success, development, and well-being.

- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of strength and conditioning principles, injury prevention, and athlete recovery best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in exercise science, physiology, physical education, or related field.
- Certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or other nationally accredited equivalent required.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in collegiate-level strength and conditioning or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Commitment to student development, collaboration, and safety in athletic performance.
