Job Summary:
The Assistant Athletic Trainer for Sports Medicine reports to the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine and serves as a member of the Sports Medicine Team. This department oversees the Sports Medicine operations for a 16-sport Division 1 athletics program competing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine.
- Performs daily operations of the athletic training room, home athletic events, away contests.
- Responds to athletic medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
- Documents injuries and medical records for student-athletes
- Utilizes Best Practices and an Evidence Based approach create prevention, rehabilitation and
- treatment plans for all student-athletes under the supervision of the Associate Director for Sports Medicine.
- Completes administrative duties as assigned.
- Must have ATC certification in good standing.
- Must have valid Athletic Training license in New Jersey or be qualified to obtain a New Jersey License.
- Practices and maintain professional conduct in the Athletic Training Field.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine.
Salary Range: $53,000 - $56,000
