QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of both agency and client matters. Must understand and be able to display the clinical knowledge and expertise necessary to perform crisis intervention. Must be able to display knowledge and expertise in clinical theory and practice as it relates to the populations served by Wellmore, Inc. Must be capable of working as a part of a team and be able to effectively communicate with both families and professionals (in writing and verbally).  Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of assigned families. Must be able to display at least an understanding of the diverse cultural communities prominent in greater Waterbury.  Working knowledge of the greater Waterbury area is a must! Must be able to read, write, translate and interpret in Spanish.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A Master’s Degree in marriage and family therapy, social work or related human services field with at least a one year clinical internship working with children and/or adolescents or families is required. A Connecticut license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Doctorate Psychologist preferred. MSW candidates must possess a LMSW at a minimum.  Two years post graduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents or families is preferred. Experience in family therapies as well as family systems theory and practice is preferred.
 LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance; CPR and first-aid
