Summary: The Sales Coordinator is responsible creating and maintaining positive customer relationships between EZ Loader and customers.  This position will assist and support the Inside Sales Manager with customer service, pricing, sales and order entry. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to carry out essential job functions, included but not limited to:

 

  • Understanding the relationship between Inside and Outside Sales to achieve efficient and timely service to customers and members of the EZ Loader Team.
  • Maintain communications with the assigned dealers and OEM’s at intervals assigned by the Inside Sales Manager or at a minimum of once per week.
  • Submit orders to Operations within 24 hours of receipt of confirmation from customers.
  • Maintain sales records of assigned customers and report issues to Management at designated sales meetings.
  • Assist the Inside Sales Manager and VP in pricing quotes by performing an analysis of cost
  • Assist the Inside Sales Manager with product pricing, payment terms, and conditions.
  • Assist in the creation of customer-specific pricing files while maintaining strict control of revisions and updates.
  • Work with Logistics to determine full loads with cost analysis
  • Maintain neat and updated files on all assigned customers.
  • Work with Marketing to monitor stock of all dealer show materials and point-of-purchase items.
  • Offer suggestions to Marketing on all creative items such as catalogs, promotional sheets, website, etc.
  • Coordinate shipment and return of marketing materials used at trade shows and sales events.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Sourcing to utilize slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Responsible for creating an engaging partnership with all customers by actively listening and understanding customers’ needs.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience. Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations. Proficiency in computers is required, particularly in Microsoft Office-based programs.  Should be analytically minded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure the best prices according to budget. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.

 

Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and able to write simple correspondence. Have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.  Ability to read and comprehend measuring tools such as a tape measure.

Reasoning Ability: Have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Qualifications: Must be willing to learn and practice continuous improvement techniques.  Have the capability to participate and lead in a team-oriented environment with the willingness to assist and train others. Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process.  Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends before and after schedule as needed.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Working conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
