How You Will Contribute:
- Manage the overall progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due dates of the Nonprofit Group.
- Review all workpapers, financial statements and tax returns before submission to manager/principal for further review.
- Supervise assigned staff and in charges and ensure evaluation reports are completed.
- Develop client relationships and look for opportunities to provide additional services.
- Assist in increasing the nonprofit book of business.
- Proactively build a referral network of bankers and professionals and seek new business opportunities.
- Actively mentor staff and seniors during engagements and support their learning and overall career progression.
- Other duties as assigned, such as special projects, including other agreed upon procedures set forth by clients.
About YOU!
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA License required.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting industry, preferably at a mid-market firm
- Experience running nonprofit engagements (arts, religious, membership, educational, and special needs organizations).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Passion for client service and an entrepreneurial mindset
- DAILY ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to travel to and from client locations and our office locations
- Strong collaboration skills and desire to work as a team
