How You Will Contribute: 

  • Manage the overall progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due dates of the Nonprofit Group.
  • Review all workpapers, financial statements and tax returns before submission to manager/principal for further review. 
  • Supervise assigned staff and in charges and ensure evaluation reports are completed. 
  • Develop client relationships and look for opportunities to provide additional services. 
  • Assist in increasing the nonprofit book of business.
  • Proactively build a referral network of bankers and professionals and seek new business opportunities.
  • Actively mentor staff and seniors during engagements and support their learning and overall career progression.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as special projects, including other agreed upon procedures set forth by clients. 

 

About YOU! 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.  
  • CPA License required.  
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting industry, preferably at a mid-market firm 
  • Experience running nonprofit engagements (arts, religious, membership, educational, and special needs organizations).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Passion for client service and an entrepreneurial mindset 
  • DAILY ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to travel to and from client locations and our office locations 
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work as a team
