Machine Operator 3

Position Description: The Machine Operator 3 position will work hands on with equipment set-up, maintenance, and operations on 2 out of the 6 areas with machines (injection, extrusion, Gerber cutter, hot stamper, printing & toolboxes). They must operate to maximize machine output and utilization and keep products organized. Keep production going to meet daily quantities.

Machine Operator 3 Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to navigate printing software and systems
• Strong knowledge of computers
• Ability to discern color contrasts and color detail
• Perform equipment set-up, maintenance & operations on 2 out of the 6 areas with machines
• Read technical dimensional drawings
• Packaging & Palletizing
• Monitor & replenish material
• Perform in-process quality checks
• Abide by company safety guidelines

Preferred Requirements:

• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain printing equipment
• Experience using Onyx and Illustrator software
• Ability to adjust and make changes to art files
• Support the cycle counting and inventory process
• 2 years Manufacturing experience preferred
• 1 year of mechanical/ machine operator experience preferred
• Degree or some college preferred. Highschool diploma or equivalent acceptable
