FULL TIME

 Airport Wheelchair Agent

Pay Rate: $18.89/ HR BASE PAY + TIPS (unlimited earning potential)

Position Objective: To assist airline passengers whom require / request wheelchair transportation services throughout airport while providing exceptional customer service.

General Qualifications:

  • 18 and over
  • Reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Eligible to pass FBI clearance background check
  • Must be fluent in English ability to speak a second language is a plus (preferred, but not required)

Duties, Knowledge and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for safely transporting passengers throughout airport locations
  • Assist customers in and out of wheelchairs (as needed)
  • Provide passengers with general information or directions (as needed)
  • Offer exceptional customer service when interacting with passengers, staff, or general public
  • Coordinate with dispatch and airline gate agents for assignments or information regarding wheelchair assisted passengers
  • Comply with all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint screening requirements and processes
  • Complete incident reports for accidents and out of the ordinary events occurring when transporting passengers
  • Update and maintain wheelchair logs to track trips  
  • Perform other duties as required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, carry / hold 75 pounds or more
  • Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand / bend frequently throughout the course of a shift
