This role involves organizing small to large-scale fundraising initiatives, working with board members, managing our annual fund, tracking data, generating reports, preparing proposals, and building relationships with foundations, donors, staff, and volunteers. The development director will establish strategic goals and implement tactical action plans. If you can imagine and materialize solutions that do not currently exist and balance your decision making between gut and evidence you will likely find this a rewarding opportunity.
The ideal candidate will prefer autonomy, leverage superb inter-personal relationship skills, be driven by a sense of urgency, and be intrinsically motivated to perform above and beyond expectations. Must bring a minimum of ten years related work and leadership experience. Must bring at least five years experience in fundraising and development. A bachelors degree in business, communications, public relations, related field, or equivalent experience is required.
