Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our mobile dental team. In this unique and rewarding role, you will travel to various school districts to assist in delivering professional dental services from our mobile dental bus.

Location: Based in Elizabethtown, KY but will travel to several school districts in Wellness on Wheels Dental Bus. Districts may include: Elizabethtown Ind. Schools, Hardin Co. Schools, Meade Co. Schools, LaRue Co. Schools, Washington Co. Schools, Bardstown Ind. Schools, Mercer Co. Schools, Marion Co. Schools, Green Co. Schools, and Hart Co. Schools.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Assisting dentist or dental hygienist with routine exams, cleaning, and restorative dental procedures
• Maintaining a clean and sterile working environment
• Obtaining x-ray images per provider order
• Equipment sterilization and transportation between schools
• Assisting dental provider with data collection
• Contact patients/guardians for follow up and urgent dental needs
• Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma required
• Dental Assistant certification preferred, but not required
• Dental x-ray certification preferred
• Dental office experience required

Schedule Requirements:

Full-time position, 5 days per week during the school year. *No work during summer breaks*. In person work required. 

Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
