DIGITAL CONTENT & VISUAL ASSET SPECIALIST

Job Summary:

At BOX Partners, the Digital Content and Visual Asset Specialist plays a critical role in creating positive customer experiences and growing sales by assisting with marketing and merchandising support for our online retail and e-commerce customers. This position works both cross-functionally and directly with customers to support the growth objectives of the company by developing and refining data, content, and digital tools to help BOX Partners and our customers succeed in selling stock packaging.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Creates product content (written and image) according to BOX Partners and customer specifications for e-commerce expansion.
• Applies e-commerce merchandising best practices to optimize content and present products in the most informative and appealing light to generate sales conversions.
• Takes product and lifestyle photography and video footage for transactional e-commerce use and brand communications; edits and manipulates photos and footage to reflect a professional, on-brand image.
• Develops and maintains processes for updating and storing up-to-date content within BOX Partners systems.
• Works closely with graphic designers (internal and third party) to optimize the look/feel of content where necessary.
• Manages and enhances existing e-commerce content, including reviewing customers’ online assortment and providing suggested improvements to selection and merchandising.
• Analyzes product sales performance and competitive e-commerce content and sales strategies to optimize BOX Partners’ content.
• Manages each assignment using sound project management principles: sequencing events, identifying risks and dependencies, and bringing in the right contributors when needed to deliver an exceptional product.
• Provides support for marketing initiatives that enable sales growth and achievement including managing the development of sales tools, customer-facing promotions and programs.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong, independent work ethic and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of e-commerce shopping and content best practices.
• Experience in product photography and videography (capturing and editing).
• Demonstrated ability to structure and maintain data using systems and automation where possible.
• Proven project management and organizational skills; ability to manage many concurrent projects and deadlines, identifying areas of risk and dependency across assignments.
• Resourceful, positive, and solution-oriented attitude.
• Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe CS5 applications (especially Photoshop) and video editing software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including SharePoint, with expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in product information management systems preferred.

Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years of content creation (visual and written) experience, or merchandising experience in the e-commerce space.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, preferably in Marketing or Communications.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Annual pay is commensurate to relevant experience: $55,000 - $70,000. This position is bonus eligible based on company performance.
