What You’ll Do
- Operate CMMs and 3-D Scanners to perform precision measurements of castings and machined parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T to uphold rigorous quality standards.
- Develop and run CMM programs for automated inspections.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Create clear, detailed inspection reports and PPAP documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve non-conformance issues.
- Support gauge calibration and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities.
- Maintain accurate measurement records while following all safety standards.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or HSED required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a foundry, machining, or manufacturing setting.
- Solid understanding of GD&T and strong blueprint reading skills.
- Proficiency with CMMs, 3-D Scanners, and PC-DMIS.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
