Endodontic Associates of Eugene is currently seeking a Lead Dental Assistant who is dedicated to providing top-notch patient care and supporting a positive, collaborative work environment. What You’ll Do:

As the Lead Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and efficient clinical department. Your leadership will set the standard for excellence, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible and that our practice operates at the highest standards.

  • Inventory & Equipment Management: You’ll ensure dental supplies and equipment are always stocked and in top condition. Take charge of inventory, ordering, and organizing routine maintenance.

  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Work closely with the Practice Administrator and doctor to supervise and guide clinical staff. You’ll manage daily responsibilities, including patient and treatment room management, sterilization, and adherence to office protocols.

  • Training & Development: Assist in training and retraining clinical staff to ensure ongoing growth and compliance with guidelines set by OSHA, BORID, HIPAA, CDC, and other agencies.

  • Checklists & Reporting: Keep track of all daily, weekly, and monthly checklists. From emergency team management to spore testing, your attention to detail will keep everything running smoothly.

 

Lead Dental Assistant Required Skills & Experience:

  • Competency in administering dental x-rays, CBCT, Nitrous Oxide, and sterilization techniques.
  • Experience with electronic dental records and proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Must have a Dental Assistant diploma/certification from an accredited program and a Radiology certificate. (EFDA highly preferred.)
  • 3+ years of experience in a dental practice or equivalent education/experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Endodontics experience
  • N2O and CBCT certification
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

 

This is a full-time position (Monday through Friday).
