Education: A minimum of an associate’s degree in social work, public health, mental health or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred.
Licensure: Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW)
Certification: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification; Community Health Worker (CHW) certification
Experience: Minimum of four (4) years’ progressively responsible healthcare-related experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year-for-year basis; Prefer experience working with individuals with mental health/substance use disorders as well as experience as part of a treatment team approach to care.
Language: English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Travel: Some; valid Texas drivers’ license and current auto insurance required; must have reliable and safe transportation.
Hours of Work: 8am-5pm M-F with some weekend/evening work.

Knowledge

Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
