Description

Bring Your Passion.

Carolina Outreach is looking for a compassionate, driven, and clinically skilled ACT Team Lead to join our dedicated team in Smithfield, NC. As part of the ncgCARE network, we’re committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral health services — and we need a strong leader to help guide that mission on the ground.

In this full-time role, you'll lead a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services. You'll balance administrative oversight and direct client care (approximately 60/40), playing a key role in shaping team culture, maintaining clinical excellence, and ensuring every individual we serve receives the person-centered support they deserve.

You’ll step into a role that blends strategic leadership with hands-on care — offering supervision, consultation, and guidance to your team, while also working directly with clients to support their journey toward stability and independence. From crisis response to long-term planning, your work will touch every aspect of ACT service delivery.

This is more than a leadership position — it’s a chance to make a daily difference in the lives of individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence service innovation, advocate in the community, and elevate standards of care in partnership with a values-driven organization.

Build Your Purpose.
