Objective of the Position
The Proposal and Technical Writing Specialist is an essential part of the sales team, collaborating with Relationship Managers, Executive Leadership, and the Contracts Manager to craft persuasive, high-quality request for proposals (RFP) that secures new business opportunities. This role combines technical responses with strategic positioning to develop materials that win contracts and establish the organization as a trusted partner.
In addition to creating sales proposals, the specialists will collaborate with internal teams to develop client-facing solicitation responses and proposals that convey complex information clearly and concisely. As a key collaborator, the Sales Technical Writer ensures all written materials are accurate, aligned, and impactful, supporting both business development efforts and client success.
What you will do:
Request for Proposal Responses

Serve as an assistant writer for RFP, RFQ, QSP responses and other formal solicitations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic alignment with client needs.

Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Executive Leadership, and the Contracts Manager to understand client objectives, pain points, and priorities.

Write and edit proposal response documents, including proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials, that highlight the organization’s value proposition.
Technical Writing for Client Products and Reports

Draft, edit, and proofread technical reports and client-facing deliverables, ensuring complex information is conveyed clearly and accurately.
Collaboration & Team Integration
Process Optimization & Strategic Input
Calendar Organization:

Manage and organize calendar and deadlines for proposals, ensuring timely updates and submissions.

Coordinate with various departments to schedule document review and approval meetings related to grants and proposals.
