Position Summary:
Uses proven sales tools and techniques to achieve sales quotas on assigned route. This position will pre-sell product to assigned off-premise accounts in a designated area.
Job Duties:
- Takes inventory at assigned accounts and makes recommendations of each account’s product needs and to maintain properly stocked inventory levels.
- Sells in displays, new products and packages, draught placements, shelf facings, POS, and price points.
- Follows corporate Sales and Merchandising Standards guidelines to ensure the merchandising of all corporate products including restocking to avoid out-of-stock, making minor legal space adjustments, building displays, installing, placing and providing P.O.S. and pricing product as allowed by retailers.
- Completes all administrative duties: Mobility route book entries, syncing on a timely basis as specified by the company, and other duties specified by company management.
- Notifies Area Sales Manager of all pertinent changes in the retail trade to include: file maintenance, license updates, route scheduling, competitive activity, and other requirements require by management.
- Ability to be flexible in work hours, adapt to frequent changes in work assignments, equipment, and routes and number of SKU’s.
- Reaches account level objectives by using sales training to close sales solicitation of displays, new products and packages, draft placements, shelf facings, POS, and price points.
- Provides effective communication with all Sales personnel to ensure closure of sales, maintaining good customer relations and a decisive competitive edge in order to maximize sales goals.
- Follows and enforces Anheuser Busch equity agreement and other supplier contract Code Date policies.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of all Silver Eagle suppliers and products.
- Merchandises and rotates ice bins, coolers, shelves and displays where applicable.
- Responsible for the collection of payment in the form of check, money order, or invoice in accordance with TABC laws and SED policies.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by being friendly, courteous, respectful and professional at all times.
- May occasionally be asked to work special events which includes preparation of equipment, delivery of equipment and/or product, working the event, closing the event with correct check-in and documentation, cleaning and return of dispensing equipment.
- Adheres to all safety policies and practices, all Company policies, rules and government regulations. Must correct or immediately report to supervisor any unethical behavior, violations of code of conduct or safety hazards.
