The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for all activity on the traditional alarm side of the Monitoring Center, ensuring efficient and accurate response to alarm signals. This includes managing schedules, providing on-going training for agents and handling escalated customer calls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of alarm queues to ensure response time goals are met.
- Management of inbound alarm response line to ensure service level goals are met.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to agents.
- Schedule and manage agent shifts and breaks to ensure adequate staffing.
- Has regular 1:1 meetings with dispatch agents to provide feedback and answer questions.
- Conducts weekly team meetings.
- Collects and records daily agent stats.
- Completes annual performance reviews for all their direct reports.
- Ensure all agents are following the Alert 360 attendance policy.
- Training/development of agents.
- Identifies and develops agents for promotion into leadership roles.
Scope of Responsibility
The Dispatch Supervisor will report directly to the Dispatch Manager. Direct hourly reports include dispatch agents, levels 1-4.
