Job Summary: The role of Lead Server is to serve all guests and/or members and take care of their needs and requests as it pertains to their dining experience while providing guidance to fellow team members as needed. You are also responsible for bringing the guest and/or members incredible customer service by menu and product knowledge, completing correct orders, timely/friendly service, and anticipating and accommodating any and all of the guests and/or members needs.Â

Maintain high morale amongst the serving teamÂ

Act as a liaison between the Restaurant manager and serving teamÂ

Ensure all closing and opening duties are completed to policiesÂ

Directly assist the Restaurant manager as neededÂ

Answer questions and inquiries from the serving teamÂ

Ensure proper handling of paymentsÂ

Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction as well as company standards; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen Â

Serves food and beverages to guests as per the restaurant’s standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner Â

Ensure that the guests have a pleasant dining experience Â

Obtain complete knowledge about ingredients, flavors and suggestions about menu items Â

Inform guests about special items for the day and menu changes. Â

Take food and beverage orders Â

Collect plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals Â

Obtain revenues, issue receipts, accept payments Â

Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor Â

Complete pre-shift and post-shift duties including setup and teardown of certain stations Â
