Summer Seasonal 2026 Food Runner at Watersound Beach Club

Job Summary: The Food & Beverage Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the needed foods and materials for proper service are maintained at an above satisfactory level.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform the assigned opening duties. 
• Perform the assigned closing duties. 
• Ensure all foods are stocked throughout shift while operating a buffet style meal. 
• Ensure all beverage options are stocked throughout shift while operating a buffet style meal. 
• Assist food runners as needed. 
•  Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner. 
• Maintains organized and clean work area. 
• Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring 
• Provides level of service consistent with established standards in every aspect  
• Provides additional services / answers requested by the guest. 
• Clear tables and eating areas of trash or food left behind by guests.

Education and Experience: 

• Sufficient education and literacy are necessary to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.   
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred.   
• CPR Training (can be obtained after employment)   
• Must be at least 18 years old (to serve alcohol)   
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.   
• Some former restaurant experience is helpful.
