HOW YOU'LL CONNECT
The Private Banker contributes to Landmark National Bank’s high end customer service standards by cultivating and advancing new and existing business client relationships. They will serve as a direct point of contact for clients, providing tailored financial solutions to meet client’s needs. The private banker must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and maintain a deep understanding of all banking products in a proactive approach to establish tailored, long-term client relations. They will partner closely with team, other bank divisions, and bank leadership to develop, monitor, and achieve bank goals.
WHO YOU ARE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience

3 years previous banking, lending, or financial experience, preferred

Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality

Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills

Able to exercise sound business judgement and ethical standards

Customer-focused attitude with established sales and customer service skills

Strong planning and organizational skills

Advanced communication skills, including experience with presentations

Advanced level of understanding of basic personal computer programs (Internet, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Loan Analysis & Decision Making – Collect and analyze customer loan applications, credit worthiness, collateral valuation, and financial statements to approve, decline, or recommend loans within guidelines of the Private Banking Loan Policy. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Branch Support & Internal Consultation – Serve as the primary contact for branch employees when working with an existing business client regarding their personal needs. Collaborate with an internal specialist to create and implement solutions to meet client’s needs and contribute to branch performance.

Relation Ownership & Development – Act as co-owner of client relationship, providing personalized financial service while staying updated on the overall relationship with the bank. Resolve client inquires and issues and conduct regular joint portfolio reviews with the appropriate commercial teammates to ensure alignment with client objectives.

Process Improvement & Product Offering – Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline banking services, enhance efficiency, and improve customer experience. Identify opportunities to improve or add products and services that would meet current client demands or better position the bank to obtain additional client relationships.

Training & Communication – Communicate regularly with clients and with the appropriate commercial teammates or branch staff, to help ensure that the bank presents an educated and united front when interacting with the customers. Communicate appropriately with branch staff on client’s needs, loan policies, and best practices ensuring smooth transactions in all client relations.

Build and maintain relationships with all customers, your team, and community partners.

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan that includes active outreach to current and prospective customers.

Represent Landmark National Bank through community engagement to advance the bank’s reputation both during and after business hours.

Manage your professional improvement through the utilization of the Quarterly Job Progress Plan and consistently meet Minimum, Target and Optimum levels of performance.

Engage in and initiate Landmark National Bank Culture initiatives and team success activities.
