WHO YOU ARE

Minimum of one to three years of experience as a Loan Assistant in a financial institution lending department

Knowledge of lending policies and procedures is essential.

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Excellent written communication skills; Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task to ensure work is completed within established timeframes

Strong organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and ability to use proprietary software

Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Obtains information related to the loan origination process including ordering credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, insurance information, flood certificates, Secretary of State searches and various other items.

Provide customer support, execute daily loan transactions, and handle other general administrative duties.

Assists in the preparation of disbursement worksheets, loan documentation checklists, and other communications necessary to properly document the loan files while adhering to bank policies and procedures.

Ensures that all loan documentation and customer information is scanned into the core system in a timely manner.

Ensures that all liens, including deeds of trust and notice of liens are filed in a timely matter to protect the Banks lien on collateral.

Receives exception tracking report and ensures that outstanding issues regarding title policies, vehicle titles, appraisals, construction inspections, etc. are properly received, documented and cleared from the report.

Acts as liaison between loan officers and loan documentation and loan operations department.

Plays an important role in customer relationship management, loan origination processes, credit risk management and compliance.

Prepare, manage and monitor loan requests in accordance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Manage own professional improvement through the utilization of the Quarterly Job Progress Plan.

Engage in Landmark National Bank Culture initiatives and team success activities including, Huddles and Hoopla events.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
