JOB SUMMARY

Overseeing the general operation of the revenue cycle systems which include, Soarian Financials, Quadax, insurance verification and statement processing, and Payment Navigation. Specific job functions include: Training, data integrity, problem resolution, system performance, application and configuration modifications, Open Link Interfaces, system upgrade testing and implementation, overall user satisfaction and ADHOC reporting. Provides technical and functional expertise to the operations staff on revenue cycle systems capabilities.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Undergraduate degree with course work in business, management or information systems.

Certification: Microsoft SQL Server preferred.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of hospital information services operations, programming, and installation experience in a dynamic and service oriented organization including familiarity with PC Hardware/Software and Local Area Network (LAN). A minimum of five (5) years experience working with hospital or professional revenue cycle systems. Proven work experience with Siemens Applications and On-line Architectural Software. Working knowledge of Soarian Financials master files, profiles and processing preferred. Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) would accept an equivalent combination of education and experience providing the candidate possesses the knowledge and abilities required by the position.

Skills: A highly motivated, detail and service oriented individual that can accurately set priorities, work effectively with minimal direction in a job environment involving creative leadership, possessing written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, organizational and technical skills which include PC, Local Area Network (LAN) familiarization; a technical and functional understanding of hospital and related information systems that will allow credibility in the eyes of hospital and Hamilton Health Care System (HHCS) management, end users, Information Services personnel, consultants and vendors; Computer skill set that encompasses intrinsic troubleshooting knowledge and operation; Intermediate level skill set with Microsoft Office. Administrative, operational and technical skills necessary to properly identify, justify and fulfill revenue cycle automation requirements; Ability to work with and utilize to the best advantage HHCS representatives of various vendors and consultants, as well as, patients, physicians and all levels of HHCS staff. The incumbent must have a strong sense of organization and the ability to develop long range plans while maintaining control over current projects with advanced project management skills.

A typical office / information systems environment with frequent interruptions while working under strict deadlines and requirements. The associate is frequently working with sensitive and confidential patient and business information. The individual must be able to maintain control, establish and update priorities and exercise accurate judgment during high stress and peak workload periods, communicate effectively (written or verbal) with management, members of the staff, systems users, consultants and vendors, lift, transport and install computer equipment, maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate on-call and other responsibilities
