JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
Licensure: Current LPN License in the State of Georgia, Current CPR Certification
Experience: 1 year in a physician office practice or hospital preferred.
Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. Knowledge of clinical patient care, the ability to use critical thinking skills, highly organized with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting, demonstrates evidence of exceptional leadership skills, positive communication, and collaboration with patients, families and other health care team members, maintains core values that are consistent with quality patient/family centered care, and maintains a positive attitude toward other team members.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Works in a typical physician office setting with patients who are experiencing a wide range of medical problems. Required to work a flexible schedule. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 30 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
