What You'll Do:

The HR Generalist supports a wide range of human resources functions within a dynamic hospitality environment, with a strong focus on benefits administration, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and international recruitment. This role also engages in key areas such as performance management, onboarding, employee development, policy implementation, compensation, and employment law compliance—all while helping to cultivate a welcoming and service-oriented workplace culture. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. This position is located on premises in Breckenridge, CO. Transitional housing may be available.

Position starts at $65,000 - $85,000 annual salary DOE

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving HR issues.
  • Develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with Executive Committee, managers and staff.
  • Suggest and create procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Partner with management to investigate and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Coach managers to effectively lead in a dynamic work environment to increase employee engagement and productivity.
  • Maximize functionality of HCM, Paycom, for talent acquisition, time and attendance, record keeping, reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws.
  • Manage workers’ compensation and OSHA logs.
  • Partner with leadership team to create and execute talent strategy.
  • Oversee international recruiting and hiring processes – primarily H2B and J1 visa programs.
  • Administer benefit, leave and wellness programs.
  • Generate and analyze HR data reports as necessary.
  • Create and deliver New Employee Orientation and other employee trainings.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years progressive Human Resources experience or equivalent experience – required
  • 1+ years experience managing benefits and ACA compliance – required
  • 1+ years experience conducting employee investigations, creating corrective action and performance improvement plans and administering terminations – required
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration, or related field –preferred
  • SHRM or HRCI certification – preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint – required
  • Experience with HCM systems – required
  • Bilingual Spanish – preferred
  • Proficient in English - written and spoken – required
