What You’ll Do:

The Assistant Manager for Spencer’s Restaurant and Base 9 Bar support the Manager in overseeing all front-of-house operations for a dynamic, three-meal-a-day, seven-day-a-week restaurant and bar. This role ensures exceptional guest service, efficient performance, and team alignment with company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Position is located on premises in Breckenridge, CO. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Transitional housing may be available.

 

Position range $58,000-$64,000 annual salary DOE

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Lead and train a team of 10–15 employees, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Manage scheduling, time and attendance tracking, and payroll processing for assigned staff.
  • Oversee performance management by setting goals, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Partner with HR and Manager to hire new staff.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and applicable labor laws.
  • Support inventory control, cost management, and adherence to budgetary targets.
  • Collaborate with culinary and bar leadership to ensure seamless coordination and consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address service or operational concerns promptly.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service across all dining and bar areas.
  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust schedules to meet business needs and financial objectives.
  • Partner with restaurant leadership to develop and implement SOP’s.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool diploma or GED – required
  • 2+ years of Supervisory or management experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality environment. - Preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook and Word - required
  • Proficiency in English written and spoken language – required
  • Experience with scheduling systems, POS platforms, and payroll/timekeeping software.
