Position Overview

The Senior Account Executive’s lead responsibility is to build and maintain the relationship between the agency and the client. They serve as the client advocate within the agency, as well as the lead communicator with the internal and external client teams. They interface with various agency departments to move projects through on behalf of the client, working closely with the account leadership and/or the

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as day-to-day contact for assigned client(s), building trust and maintaining open communication. Serves in a support role to senior staff members on high-profile accounts.
  • Leads client meetings to review project progress, performance metrics and strategic alignment.
  • Gathers and assembles client input and relevant background information to develop project briefs.
  • Supports senior team members and strategists in the development of marketing communications plans, proposals and proactive thinking.
  • Keeps the project manager and other relevant personnel apprised of clients’ projects through production.
  • Helps lead the organization, production, and trafficking of all paid media campaigns for assigned clients.
  • Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients; supports other client engagement team members in these functions.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of clients’ industries, brands, products and services.
  • Provides client with ongoing campaign and project reporting and updates on measures, budgets and other key communications.
  • Prepares, reviews and manages client budgets, projections and monthly invoicing.
  • Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all client communications.
  • Actively seeks additional projects/new business from client contacts.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Must be well-organized, self-motivated and engaged
  • Demonstrates excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities
  • Works well under tight deadlines
  • Handles pressure well
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks at one time with a strong emphasis on leadership

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience in the field – agency and B2B/retail marketing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

 

Remote Work Option:

This role will fall under Core Creative's work from home structure that allows the employee to choose where to work from. We realize that some days it is simply more efficient for you to work from your home office, while on other days it may be easier to book an office space and work from the Core Creative offices. The only exception to this is a mandated in office day once per week, this day will fall on either Tuesday or Wednesday and will be determined based on current client work.
