- Required background:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Preferred background:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A or B.S.) from four-year college or university
- 3-5 years of related experience in purchasing for electronics manufacturing
- Prior experience in ERP system, Epicor preferred.
- Required skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving ability to help streamline procurement and inventory management processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred skills:
- Proven track record of negotiating favorable vendor terms in accordance with specified targets.
- Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement of processes in the areas of quality, cost, delivery, and lead time.
- Business Analytics skills—Excel formulas and pivot tables, SQL, statistical analysis
