We are seeking a self-motivated individual to be a part of the Mill team at our South Feedlot, located in Broken Bow, Nebraska. This is a great opportunity for a quality focused individual with an interest in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a facility. Approximately 80% of the role involves computer-based tasks and responsibilities. The schedule for this position is a rotating 4 days on and then 4 days off.

This person will be responsible for:

Setting and starting up the mill/flaker.

Performing quality control checks on mill and flaker items, such as dry matters, flake weights, water, and High Moisture Corn (HMC) whole kernel counts, making any necessary adjustments needed, and contacting the manager if major adjustments are necessary.

Utilizing the mill computer/software to schedule loads.

Ensuring all safety processes are properly followed.

Troubleshooting and monitoring software programs.

Maintaining and inventorying all micro ingredients and dry corn.

Following all applicable FDA rules and guidelines and completing all proper documentation with integrity.

Completing all necessary documentation and work orders, in addition to quality and production logs and end of day paperwork.
