What You Bring:
Required:
- Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal.
- 2+ years of railroad industry experience.
- 1+ years of experience in training, public speaking, or on-the-job training (OJT).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of FRA regulations (e.g., CFR 243, GCOR) and practical safety rules in transportation, engineering, or mechanical operations.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in safety, transportation, education, or related fields.
- Experience in railroad operations (e.g., Engineer, Conductor, Track Laborer, Inspector).
- Certification in training or safety, such as First Aid/AED instructor credentials.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities in both English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to travel (up to 75%) and work in diverse environments.
