Casual Driver

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the delivery and pick up of Dutch Valley products to customers and from vendors. Defined as a Dutch Valley Driver that will be available on a part-time, casual schedule, or as needed basis with no force dispatch.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver products to our customers and pick up local backhauls on company-provided equipment

• Transferring equipment from one location to another

• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately

• Local deliveries, drop and hook, transfer trailers from warehouse to warehouse

• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with customers

• All responsibilities as outlined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.

Education/ Licensure/ Credentials

• Must have a Class A CDL License
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Experience

• Must have 2 years driving experience or completed DV CDL Training

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Must possess good driving skills
• Maintain a good driving record
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have a good sense of direction
• Safety sensitive position
