Job Summary:
The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing our food development manufacturing cost accounting systems and processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. This role involves analyzing production costs, preparing cost forecasts, developing cost standards, and collaborating with operations and finance teams to optimize profitability. The position will ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, and provide actionable insights to support budgeting, pricing, and inventory valuation.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least seven years of cost accounting experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience in JD Edwards or other ERP systems is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
