Description

Tri County Care Management Organization (TCCMO) is a non-profit organization that provides care management (case management) services for children with complex mental health, behavioral, developmental and/or substance abuse challenges in Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren Counties.


We are currently seeking a Controller based in Branchburg, NJ.  This position reports to the CFO and has primary responsibility for supervision of Finance Department staff and day-to-day operations of the department.  The ideal candidate for this position will be a team player with progressive experience in multiple areas of financial management and an appreciation for the unique needs of the non-profit sector.

 
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement based on established TCCMO policy after an initial period of training and orientation.

Responsibilities include:


•    Supervise two finance employees, comprised of ongoing oversight and training, biweekly status meetings, and annual performance evaluations
•    Oversee biweekly payroll review and approval for approximately 120 employees 
•    Manage A/P and A/R including review of all disbursements and processing of receivables
•    Manage Medicaid billing process 
•    Track and report State funds per contract requirements
•    Complete monthly bank reconciliation
•    Create monthly journal entries and analyze general ledger accounts
•    Participate in preparation annual audits for financials, 401(k) and workers compensation in conjunction with the CFO
•    Annual 1099 reporting and W2 verification

Qualifications

Position Requirements:


•    BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field
•    MBA or related master’s degree and CPA strongly preferred
•    Experience with Sage Intact and Paycom preferred
•    Minimum of ten (10) years progressive related experience, preferably with a nonprofit organization
•    Detail oriented with a focus on internal controls
•    Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
•    Positive team member with appreciation for the mission of the organization
•    Proficiency with MS Office Suite and related technology
