Metal Refinishing Technician

Job description:

Metal Refinisher After Hour Shift from 6pm to 3am Monday - Friday

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Refinisher. Will need experience in cleaning, polishing, restoring, and maintaining a variety of metal surfaces, including stainless steel, bronze, aluminum, and other architectural metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, polish, and refinish metal surfaces such as elevator doors, handrails, signage, and architectural details
• Use appropriate techniques and materials for different metal types and finishes (satin, mirror, brushed, patina, etc.)
• Inspect surfaces for damage or corrosion and recommend proper restoration methods
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Apply protective coatings or sealants as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and building access requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in stone refurbishment, with a focus on granite and marble
• Strong knowledge of stone types, properties, and appropriate refurbishment techniques.
• Proficiency in using stone refurbishment tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
