As part of the Returns leadership team, the Returns Lead will be responsible for ensuring that workflow operates smoothly and that the Returns Department staff can work continuously and efficiently. The Returns Lead is expected to exemplify Lulus' core values while managing the opening and folding/inventory workflow, keeping employees on task, and answering routine questions. A key part of the Returns Lead role is consistently communicating shift metrics and achievements, as well as any issues or errors that occurred during the shift to the department and DC leadership. The Returns Lead will also be the acting supervisor when the department manager or supervisor is not available.
What You'll Do

Responsible for determining day-to-day tasks, making sure openers are returning, quality checking, and folding items correctly

Responsible for verifying that all openers are accomplishing and maintaining their daily standard

Ensure all team members are trained following current SOPs and that all SOPs are updated as instructed

Problem Orders: Use critical thinking skills to resolve all problem orders on shift while working cross-functionally with the Customer Service team

Analyze staffing on shift and make recommendations to the manager if headcount is inadequate for work volume

Maintain a consistent presence and accessibility on the warehouse floor every scheduled day

Other warehouse duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities:

RTS(Return to Sender)- figuring out why the order came back to us through various resources and determining whether to reship or restock the items

Various reports in Google Docs tracking daily totals, Temp hours, order discrepancies, employee mistakes tracking, and productivity
What You'll Need
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
1+ yrs. experience in a supervisory role over a team
-
Prior experience working in a warehouse environment desired

Knowledge of Excel and Google Suite

Excellent attention to detail
-
Must be able to adapt quickly and cooperatively to change and be willing to jump in to help return staff as needed

Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and managers at all times

Work well under pressure. Meet multiple, and sometimes competing deadlines

Physical Requirements for Performing Essential Duties

Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 95% of the time is spent in varying work areas where standing and walking are required. 5% of time spent in an office environment

Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with co-workers and subordinates

Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area, able assess weights, and judge distances and heights. Good eye-hand/foot coordination

Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs by hand

Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access locations as needed
