All Weather Architectural Aluminum is a custom window and door manufacturer located in Vacaville, CA, that has been in business since 1969, and we have an immediate opening for a distribution supervisor. The distribution supervisor is responsible for overseeing all outbound shipping operations, ensuring efficient, safe and on-time delivery to our customers, dealers, and job sites. This role oversees the coordination of loading, routing, and transportation while maintaining high standards of product care, customer service and regulatory compliance. The supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment with unique handling and delivery requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise daily shipping operations including staging, packing, loading, and route dispatching.
- Direct and schedule delivery drivers, assigning delivery routes and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and internal safety policies.
- Monitor and evaluate driver performance and enforce company standards for customer service and delivery execution.
- Ensure all shipments are prepared accurately and efficiently, meeting customer specifications and minimizing the risk of damage.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight providers, and internal logistics teams to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce vehicle inspections, load securement, and pre-trip checks.
- Lead improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, analyze shipping metrics, and develop action plans to enhance processes.
- Maintain records related to shipments, delivery performance, driver hours, and vehicle maintenance.
- Train and coach warehouse and driver staff; assist with hiring, onboarding, resolve complaints and conflicts, conduct performance evaluations and provide corrective action when necessary.
- Collaborate with production and customer service teams to align shipping schedules with order readiness and customer expectations.
- Identify and implement improvements to routing, loading, packaging, and delivery processes.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading dock environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Occasionally sitting for long periods of time. Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, and pull items that can weigh up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a warehouse/production environment. Will have exposure to loud noise and machinery. Some administrative tasks will require time spent in an office setting.
