Description

GMC is now hiring a full-time Advancement Office Manager. The Advancement Office Manager is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the department and foundation for day-to-day operations. This includes scheduling, project and event support, processing payments/budgetary support, and assisting guests/visitors. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the function and running of the Advancement Office. Including ordering supplies, processing payments, and incoming and outgoing mail. and file maintenance 
  • Maintains Advancement schedules; Schedules appointments, arrange meetings, assists with event schedules (corresponding work orders), tours of campus, etc
  • Assistance with event and project execution. 
  • Screen calls/emails, greet/assist visitors, students, faculty, and staff, and provide general information about the institution.
  • Other duties as assigned

*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing administrative role
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing administrative role
  • Event coordination experience
  • Experience using Colleague and Perceptive Content
