We’re Phelps Uniform Specialists, and we’re expanding our reach in the custom apparel and promotional products market. We’re looking for a high-energy Outside Sales Representative who can hunt for new business and build lasting client relationships.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on winning new accounts but also knows how to keep clients happy and coming back.
Position Overview
This is a hybrid sales role with a strong focus on new business development while maintaining and growing existing accounts. You'll represent a wide range of branded merchandise and custom-decorated apparel to clients across industries.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and develop new business within your territory (cold calls, drop-ins, networking, referrals)
- Grow and manage a book of existing accounts with ongoing service and upselling
- Sell custom-decorated apparel, branded merchandise, and promotional items across a wide range of industries
- Collaborate with our in-house customer service and design teams to deliver seamless solutions
- Become a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their branding and employee engagement goals
- Track sales activities and maintain customer records in CRM
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
