Triage Telehealth RN

Muscogee Staffing Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a Triage Telehealth RN to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather information from patients via phone or video to assess their symptoms, concerns, and overall health status. 
2. Determine the urgency of patient conditions and prioritize needs to ensure appropriate care is provided. 
3. Provide patients with guidance and education on self-care, medication management, and follow-up instructions. 
4. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care, make referrals to specialists, and schedule appointments as needed. 
5. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and assessments, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. 
6. Manage emergency calls and provide immediate guidance for critical situations. 
7. Proficiently use electronic health records (EHRs), telehealth platforms, and other relevant technologies. 
8. Stay updated on the latest medical practices and protocols through ongoing training and professional development. 

Requirements:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) license: Required for providing patient care and making clinical decisions. 
2. Experience in Triage or Emergency Department: Highly desirable for understanding patient acuity and prioritizing care. 
3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration. 
4. Clinical Judgment & Problem-Solving: Ability to assess patient needs, prioritize care, and make informed decisions based on limited information. 
5. Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and other relevant technologies. 
6. Ability to Work Independently: Capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting and manage a high volume of patient calls. 
7. Empathy and Compassion: Ability to connect with patients and provide sensitive and supportive care. 

• Pay: $55.00 -$65.00 per hour
